840. Public Art

Change is Good

Public art. You can tell the communities that place the value on public art. It’s a way to beautify the urban space. Around these parts public art is used to dress up these unsightly electrical boxes that are on street corners and they are quite good. These pictures are from just a city block lap I took this morning in downtown Bo-Town.

And these are just a few. One of my faves around these parts is the one of The Lone Ranger in a Wild West Jail cell while Tonto looks on outside. That’s some funny social commentary right there on the side of an electrical box. I have a picture of it somewhere. Nope couldn’t find it.

And lastly this Parking Garage/bank structure that has a fresh new coat of paint.

Public art. A good thing.
