There is much debate around the Swinney household, the Idaho Swinney’s on what exactly is “Meme Life.” I get the sense from the youngsters that it’s a good thing. Some cray cray Gen Y or is it Z thang that parents just wouldn’t understand.

We think we know what memes are right? A picture with text meant as a joke. Simple enough?

Usually the best Memes only make sense to our kids, the Gen Y Nots, or the Gen Z’s, who can really follow along?? But if you say, “Okay Boomer,” or “Don’t be such a Karen!,” to any High Schooler, chances are they’ll know exactly what that means, even though you don’t have a clue. That my friend is the beauty of Meme Life. Something funny, like an inside joke to just the Gen born sometimes between 2000 and 2010. Meme Life at it’s finest.

Granted anyone over the age of 17 is just going to be all out confused by this meme life biz-ness. That’s okay, that’s how it’s supposed to be. Each preceding generation comes up with their thing their parents will never understand. And that thing, these days, is Meme Life!! That’s why it’s a good thing. Long live the next generation & their Memes.

Meme Life!! It’s good! If you are over the age of 18, you’ll never understand it. That’s the way it’s meant to be. Trust me.
