If you haven’t taken a visit to the town of Letterkenny, you don’t know what you are missing out on. A series TV show so unique and odd, it’s like nothing else out there. The Skids are the local meth-head Goth group of street punks and ne’er-do-wells led by Stewart who against all expectations can dance the living shit out of a break box piece of cardboard.
Letterkenny is a fictional town in Ontario of the Canadian variety. Leave it up to the Canadians to come up with comedy wholly unique. It could just as well be any Midwest rural Kansas, Nebraska, or Missouri town for that matter.
That little town of 5000 has it all. The dialogue is quick, pitter patter let’s get at ‘er. There’s the vegetable stand, there’s the chew dipping hockey meatheads, there’s the native-American (Canadian) Rez kids who you don’t want to mess with. There’s the super hot sister who hangs out with the hockey boys & has a soft spot for skid Stewart but most of all there’s the dancing skids.
You can catch it on Hulu, 8 seasons I do believe. And when you catch the Skids vogue-ing as they often do you will laugh, maybe even a spit-take. We’ll see.
